Thurston summer camp
Thurston Outdoor Education Centre is hosting summer camp days this year for children ages 7 to 12.
The camp will be for two weeks, from 21 July 2025 to 3 August 2025.

What is included
- transport to and from the centre (8:30 am drop off and 5:20pm collection locations at Greenodd and Booths, Ulverston)
- lunch (a packed lunch of fruit, chocolate bar, tray bake, crisps and a sandwich of your choice)
- full week of day adventures delivered by a qualified, professional and fun team
- specialist equipment for activities
Activities
Activities will be age and adventure appropriate for the groups and conditions.
Activities include:
- abseiling
- climbing
- hill adventure
- mine adventure
- bush craft
- wide games
- canoeing
- kayaking
- SUP
- jetty Jumping
- sailing
- ghyll scrambles
Cost and booking
The summer camp is £200 per participant for the week.
50% of the fee will be invoiced shortly after booking and payment is required to confirm your place. Joining instructions will being sent out after this first payment.
Full payment is required by 10 July 2025 and you will be invoiced in June.
