E-learning
South Tyneside Safeguarding Children and Adults Partnership (STSCAP) provides e-learning training.
The training is hosted by Virtual College, one of the UK's leading e-learning colleges.
- All modules have interactive learning screens, learner challenges, tracking and online assessment
- The content of the courses have been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines
- When you successfully complete your course and the knowledge test, you will be able to print out your own certificate
Once completed, you can revisit the module at any time to refresh your knowledge. This will not be recorded and you will not be issued with another certificate.
To getevidence of CPD you will need to re-register and be issued with new login details.
Who the training is for
Our e-learning training modules are for all partner organisations, including the voluntary, community and faith based sector, within South Tyneside.
Complete the training within four weeks
Once you've registered, you will have four weeks to complete the training module you have requested.
There is a charge of £40 for any e-learning module that has not been started or finished in four weeks.
How to register
Firstly, tell your line manager that you plan to access the e-learning training. When registering, include contact details for your line manager.
Staff should register themselves and take responsibility for completing the training within four weeks. We do not advocate managers or head teachers signing all their staff up in a 'block booking'. If you have any queries about this please contact the Learning and Development Advisor 0191 424 6332.
