The Council is asking for views on its Draft Gambling Act Policy Statement 2022 -25773.73KB.

The Council is responsible for:

  • Preventing gambling from being a source of crime or disorder, being associated with crime and disorder, or being used to support crime
  • Making sure that gambling is conducted in a fair and open way, and
  • Protecting children and other vulnerable people from being harmed or exploited by gambling

The current policy statement was published in January 2019 and must be re-published by January 2022.
