Coronavirus (COVID-19): Rapid lateral flow tests

Overview

You can get regular rapid tests if you do not have symptoms.

You should do a rapid test twice a week (every 3 to 4 days) to check if you have the virus. 

Order for home delivery

You can order free packs of rapid tests to be sent to your home on the government website.

Collect from a local pharmacy

You can collect rapid lateral flow tests for free from some local pharmacies.

Workplaces

Some workplaces are offering tests for staff. Check with your workplace.

Businesses can enquire about on-site or local testing for staff by emailing covidtesting@southtyneside.gov.uk.
