Walking trails and picnics
Stretch your legs, get some fresh air and enjoy some family time while walking along South Tyneside's beaches and coastline, in our parks and over our hills.
Visit the link below for seven different walking trails, suitable for the whole family.
Each walk has activities to do and sights to see along the way.
The walks range from 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete.

Easter holiday TV
Tune in to channel 7 on Freeview (Tyne & Wear TV) for activities over the Easter holidays.
From Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 April, Tyne & Wear TV will be broadcasting engaging content for school children.
- Kids' Breakfast Show (4 to 8 years): 7 to 8am
- Lunchtime Show (9 to 12 years): 1 to 1.30pm
- Evening Show (13 to 16 years): 7 to 8pm
The programmes will cover topics such as PE, cookery, arts and crafts, wellbeing, life skills, science, Horrible History, music, yoga, photography and dance.

Customs House online events
The Arbuthnot and Dennis Show will be online for free via The Customs House Facebook page from Monday 5 to Friday 9 April at 1pm. Crafty creativity for the family with jokes and songs.
