Details of proposal

Reason for parking restriction:

  • The parking team have been contacted by members of the public to inform us of their concerns regarding parking issues on Marsden Road in the vicinity of its junction with Summerhill Road
  • From the information we have received it is apparent that vehicles are parking close to the junction of Marsden Road / Summerhill Road and in the vicinity of driveways in this area. Vehicles that are parked close to junctions restrict visibility and it is stated in the Highway Code that vehicles should not park within 10 metres of a junction

Proposed Parking Restrictions:

  • No waiting at any time

Types of restriction proposed:

  • Double yellow line road markings
