    • Whitburn Road, Cleadon
  • Adding no waiting at any time with exemption for verge parking on
    • East Boldon Road/South End, Cleadon
  • Adding a Disabled Parking Bay on
    • East Boldon Road/South End, Cleadon
  • Adding limited waiting 3 hour no return within 4 hours Mon-Sat 8am-6pm restrictions
    • East Boldon Road, Cleadon

South Tyneside Council (East Boldon Road/South End, Cleadon) Order 2020

South Tyneside Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

  • No waiting at any time on East Boldon Road, Cleadon west side
    • (i) from its junction with the northern kerb line of Whitburn Road for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction
    • (ii) from a point 84 metres north of its junction with the northern kerb line of Whitburn Road for a distance of 56 metres in a northerly direction
  • No waiting at any time on East Boldon Road/South End, Cleadon east side
    • (i) from its junction with the northern kerb line of Whitburn Road for a distance of 28 metres in a northerly direction
    • (ii) from a point 71.6 metres north of its junction with the northern kerb line of Whitburn Road for a distance of 48.4 metres in a northerly direction
  • No Waiting At Any Time on West Drive, Cleadon both sides
    • from its junction with the western kerb line of East Boldon Road for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction
  • No Waiting At Any Time on East Drive, Cleadon north side
    • from its junction with the eastern kerb line of East Boldon Road for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction
  • No Waiting at any time on East Drive Cleadon south side
    • from its junction with the eastern kerb line of East Boldon Road for a distance of 28 metres in an easterly direction
  • No Waiting At Any Time on Whitburn Road, Cleadon north side
    • from its junction with the eastern kerb line of East Boldon Road/South End for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction
  • No Waiting at any time with exemption for verge parking on East Boldon Road/South End, Cleadon east side
    • from a point 43.6 metres north of its junction with Whitburn Road for a distance of 28 metres in a northerly direction
  • Disabled Persons parking place on East Boldon Road/South End, Cleadon east side
    • from a point 40 metres north of its junction with the northern kerb line of Whitburn Road for a distance of 3.6 metres in a northerly direction
  • Limited Waiting 3 hours no return in 4 hours Mon - Sat 8am-6pm on East Boldon Road west side
    • from a point 20 metres north of its junction with the northern kerb line of Whitburn Road for 15 metres in a northerly direction

Full details of these proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall at the address below.
