SOUTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL(BOWMAN STREET, WHITBURN) ORDER 2020
On 26 November 2020 South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The Order, which comes into operation on 30 November 2020 will introduce Residents Permit Holder Parking at all times on Bowman Street, Whitburn from a point 5 metres north of its junction with the east-west leg of Bowman Street for a distance of 58 metres in a northerly direction and introduce No Waiting At Any Time on Bowman Street, Whitburn east side from its junction with the east-west leg of Bowman Street for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction and from a point 63 metres north of its junction with the east-west leg of Bowman Street for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction.
Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm at the Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields NE33 2RL.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 26 November 2020 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
