Other businesses that may be able to apply

Hospitality and leisure businesses

Hospitality and leisure businesses may still be able to apply if they operate from commercial premises in South Tyneside but they do not pay business rates.

Please contact South Tyneside Council at business@southtyneside.gov.uk with the following information:

• Name and address of the business
• Business activity
• Name of any other business occupying the premises

Wholesale and 'business to business' suppliers

Wholesale and 'business to business' suppliers to the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors may still be able to apply if they:

• occupy commercial premises in South Tyneside
• can demonstrate that the business has been significantly impacted by the Local Covid Alert Level 'High' (LCAL 2) restrictions
