SOUTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL(SOUTH BACK OCEAN ROAD, SOUTH SHIELDS)ORDER 2020

On 8 October 2020 South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The Order, which comes into operation on 19 October 2020 will introduce a Loading Bay 6am - 8pm on any day on (South Back) Ocean Road, South Shields from a point 63 metres west of its junction with the western kerb line of Woodbine Street for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction and introduce No Waiting At Any Time on (South Back) Ocean Road, South Shields south side from a point 93 metres west of its junction with the western kerb line of Woodbine Street for a distance of 60 metres in a southerly, south easterly then southerly direction to the west corner of the Car Park then easterly for 42 metres then in a northerly and north westerly direction for 8.9 metres and from a point 60 metres west of the junction with Woodbine Street for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction.

Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm at the Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields NE33 2RL.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 8 October 2020 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
