South Tyneside Council (Ullswater Gardens, South Shields) Order 2020

On 10 July 2020 South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The Order which comes into operation on 20 July 2020 will introduce :

No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading Mon to Fri 8.00am to 9.30am and 3.00pm to 4.00pm on Ullswater Gardens, South Shields

  1. northeast side from a point 180 metres northwest of its junction with the northwest kerb line of Ambleside Avenue for a distance of 120 metres and including the garage access cul de sac between no's 41 and 45 in a north westerly direction
  2. northwest side from a point 108 metres northeast of its junction with Temple Park Road for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction
  3. southwest side from a point 180 metres northwest of its junction with the northwest kerb line of Ambleside Avenue for a distance of 90 metres in a north westerly then north easterly direction and including the cul de sac area next to no 31

Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 10 July 2020 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
