South Tyneside Council (Woodside Way, South Shields) Order 2020

South Tyneside Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order will be to revoke:

  1. No Waiting at Any Time on Woodside Way, South Shields north side from a point 20 metres east of its junction with the eastern kerb line of the access road into the Waverdale Way estate for a distance of 21 metres in a northerly, easterly then southerly direction and including the whole hammerhead area.

The Order will introduce

  1. No Waiting at Any Time on Woodside Way, South Shields north side from a point 44 metres southeast of its junction with Waverdale Way in a south eastwards then north eastwards then south westwards then south eastwards direction for a distance of 36 metres.

The Order will introduce

  1. No Loading/Unloading at Any Time on Woodside Way, South Shields north side from a point 44 metres southeast of its junction with Waverdale Way in a south eastwards then north eastwards then south westwards then south eastwards direction for a distance of 36 metres.

Full details of these proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL.
