Fantastic Fairground Offer to Raise Funds for Charity

The opportunity for thrill seekers to enjoy a fun day at the fair whilst raising money for charity is on offer this month.

Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields has donated specially priced tickets giving visitors over £30 worth of rides and attractions for only £5. The tickets are only valid on Saturday 26 October from 12noon til 3.00pm.

Two types of tickets are available to purchase for people under or over 1.2m in height meaning the whole family can enjoy a fun-filled day out at a special price.

All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Mayor's charity, which this year is supporting the South Shields Volunteer Life Brigade and NAAFI Break South Tyneside.

The Mayor of South Tyneside, Councillor Norman Dick, said: "This is a great opportunity for families to have a fantastic day out at the fair and help to raise money for worthy causes all at the same time.

"I would encourage residents in the Borough to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity and would like to thank Ocean Beach Pleasure Park for their generosity."

Philip Sheeran, Operator at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, said: "We're always happy to support the Mayor's Charities and help raise awareness within the local community. This annual event in October half term is a great way we can raise lots of money for some very worthy causes while families have fun here at Ocean Beach."

Tickets can be bought from the Civic Office by calling 0191 424 7331.
