Residents living in the Hebburn area of South Tyneside can find out what is happening in their local neighbourhood at the next meeting of their Community Area Forum (CAF).
At the meeting Councillors will receive an update on various community partner activities and initiatives within the Forum area with contributions from Northumbria Police, Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service and Nexus.
Members will also receive a report on housing and area management activity carried out by South Tyneside Homes in the area.
There will also be an update on how funding from the CAF has benefited the local area and communities.
Chair of the Committee, Councillor Wilf Flynn, said: "These meetings allow residents to keep up to date with what's going on in their local communities and be informed of any issues that could affect them within their neighbourhood.
"There is always much to discuss and I would encourage anyone who is interested to come along."
The next meeting will be held on Monday 14 October at 10.00am at Hebburn Central. Members of the public and press are welcome.
