This more advanced level of training will enable staff to:

  • create an effective team approach in dealing with challenging behaviours

  • change the way staff think about their interactions with children

  • inform your staff of current laws and legislations

  • promote de-escalation strategies

  • reduce the amount of serious incidents involving physical controls in all settings and emphasise behaviour management strategies

  • increase awareness of recording and reporting, monitoring and evaluating

  • provide a process of repair and reflection for both staff and children

  • increase staff skills and confidence in crisis intervention

  • enable your staff to achieve more, your children can achieve even more!

Expected Impact on School/Setting:

Accreditation for 24 months within the CRD accredited 12 hour "Basic" course option and increased current knowledge and skills of Team Teach approach.
