Residents living in the Riverside area of South Shields can find out what is happening in their neighbourhoods when their local Community Area Forum meets this week.
At the meeting on Tuesday (11 December), Forum members will receive an update from the Council and its community safety partners about their work across the area and South Tyneside Homes will outline their latest housing and area management activity.
The Forum will also hear how CAF funded environmental and housing schemes are benefitting local communities.
Councillor Michael Clare, Chair of the Riverside CAF, said: "I'd invite local residents to come along and get involved with the issues that matter to them and their neighbourhoods.
"There's always plenty to discuss, including community safety and housing."
The meeting will be held at 10am on Tuesday 11 December in South Shields Town Hall.
