Residents living in Jarrow and Boldon can find out what is happening in their local neighbourhood at the next meeting of their Community Area Forum.
At the meeting next Thursday (18 October) councillors will receive an update on various community partner activities and initiatives within the Forum area.
Members will also receive a report on housing and area management activity carried out by South Tyneside Homes in Jarrow and Boldon.
Councillors will also hear how funding from the CAF has benefited the local area and communities.
Vice Chair of the Committee, Councillor Jim Perry, who will be chairing the meeting, said: "Our forums are always interesting and informative.
"They allow residents to find out the facts of what is going on in their local communities and I would encourage people to come along."
The meeting will be held on Thursday, 18 October at 10am at Jarrow Town Hall. All are welcome.
