Safeguarding Week takes place from Monday 15 - Friday 19 October 2018.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility
Safeguarding means working together to stop abuse and prevent it happening, while making sure that everyone has a right to live a life that is free from abuse and neglect.
There are many vulnerable people in our communities of all ages and backgrounds. Keeping them safe is a priority which is why it is important that everyone recognises the signs of abuse and neglect, are confident to report it and seek the necessary help and support.
