Note Perfect

‚Äč'Note Perfect' is a two year Youth Music funded music participation programme for young people in year 9 and 10 across South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside & Sunderland, managed by Jordan Embleton of the CustomSpace.

The target group is children with an interest in a musical instrument and who may be in danger of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).

Within South Tyneside, the aim of the project is to help young people develop technical skills and abilities - instrumental, singing, composition, improvisation, performance and technology.  The young people work with professional music leaders, specialising in drums, guitar, singing, piano and bass.  They increase their music skills, learn existing music and create their own.

The CustomSpace has a track record in offering Arts Award and by embedding a Bronze Arts Award, are encouraging the young people to take ownership of their own learning and become more reflective through this portfolio qualification.
