Veterans Wellbeing Assessment and Liaison Service (VWALS)

The Veterans Wellbeing Assessment and Liaison Service (VWALS) provides mental health and wellbeing support.

VWALS provides outreach and assessment workers and utilises existing community, primary and secondary care mental health services across the North East.

The service offers advice on managing your wellbeing and gives you the opportunity to share your thoughts and concerns about experiences with others who have served in the military and may be struggling to settle back into civilian life.

The aim of the service is to provide a prompt, effective assessment, liaison and signposting service for military veterans and their families across the region.

VWALS work in partnership with Combat Stress and Royal British Legion.
