On 12 December 2017 the Council made a general vesting declaration, under the Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declarations) Act 1981, vesting part of the land subject of the compulsory purchase order in the Council.

The vesting date is to be 3 months from the date when the last of the notices of the making of the general vesting declaration, under section 6 of the 1981 Act , is completed and that the Council will confirm this date to the parties affected by the declaration in due course.
