Tots And Teddies At Tilesheds

Calling all bear lovers! Bring your teddies and join in the fun at Tilesheds Local Nature Reserve next Wednesday (20th August) from 10am - 12.30pm.

Staff from South Tyneside Council's Countryside Team and West Boldon Environmental Education Centre will lead you through a variety of activities which will help you explore the natural delights of the Reserve. Become an artist by finding your very own colours, make a teddy bear mask from natural materials, explore the site with your nose and find out just what can be made from elder tree branches.

The event will end with a teddy bear's picnic, so please bring a picnic and a favourite teddy bear. It is hoped that Cobbles, the Custom's House bear will be able to join in.

This event is aimed at younger children aged seven and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at Tilesheds Local Nature Reserve car park, on Tilesheds Lane, Boldon. For further information contact Clare Rawcliffe, Local Nature Reserves Officer on 424 7423.
