Fit young people interested in trying out some very strenuous dance moves should get along to South Shields next Wednesday (27th August) for a taster session showing break-dancing.
Places are available at Temple Park Leisure Centre for 30 young people aged over 10 who are keen to learn more about this exciting form of dance. The taster session combines break-dance with gymnastic moves.
Expert Rico Jakk has been teaching break-dance at the Customs House and in local schools and will be demonstrating and teaching dance moves from beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
The session last from 3:30pm to 5:00pm and costs £4. To book a place contact the Gymnastics Centre at Temple Park Centre on 456 9119. Loose clothing is needed and dancers should also bring a bottle of water.
