Residents of South Shields estate will have their chance to have a say on plans for the future of their estate at an exhibition later this week.
The three-day display in the Family Centre at Ridgeway School will show the overall plans for Cleadon Park Estate with detailed information about each area and the options being considered.
Frank Coverdale, Housing Policy Manager for South Tyneside Council said: "It's time for Cleadon Park to take another step forward. I'm really pleased how many residents have already been involved in developing these plans for the estate. The exhibition will give everyone in the area the chance to see, discuss and influence the way ahead. This is a really exciting time for residents of Cleadon Park."
Local Councillor Mark Walsh adds: "This has been a long time coming and South Tyneside Council, the partners and the Residents Association are now taking the first steps involving all the residents to radically reshape Cleadon Park Estate for the benefit of all who live there."
The exhibition will be at Ridgeway School Family Centre, Park Avenue, Cleadon Park South Shields on Thursday 25th from (2pm - 7.45pm); Friday 26th (2pm - 6pm) and Saturday 27th (10am - 4pm).
