The annual canvass to update the Register of Electors

The Council started the annual canvass to update the Register of Electors from 15 July.

We delivered letters to all homes across South Tyneside, to help us identify all those entitled to vote.

Local government election results

Local government elections have been held to elect one councillor in each of the 18 wards in South Tyneside, and a vacancy in the Harton ward.
