Flu vaccine

Local people who are eligible for the flu vaccine are being reminded to protect themselves with a free vaccination which saves lives.

Those who have long-term health conditions and those who are pregnant are at greater risk of developing complications as a result of flu. The campaign is also aimed at parents of children aged 2-4. This is to protect them against flu and help to reduce its spread to those around them.

If you consider yourself to be part of an 'at risk' group get in contact with your local GP or pharmacist and get yourself the seasonal jab for free.
