Adults' Occupational Therapy Services

Occupational Therapy can offer adults with a physical disability advice and the support they need to be more independent.

An occupational therapist can assess a person to see what support they might need to manage in their environment and what help they need to complete everyday tasks. This may include washing, dressing and getting around. Occupational therapists can also provide advice about equipment and assistive technology which may help people with a physical disability to be more independent.

For further information or to request an assessment contact the Adult Duty Team on 0191 424 6000.
