Overview
South Tyneside Council declared a climate change emergency on 18 July 2019.
We are implementing strategies that will bring about real change.
We aim to:
- make the Council carbon neutral by 2030
- move to cleaner, greener, renewable sources of energy
- enhance our natural environment
