Community Infrastructure Levy

The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a tariff-based charging schedule for requiring planning contributions from developers towards the (part-) funding of the provision and maintenance of necessary strategic and local infrastructure projects.

The preparation of our Community Infrastructure Levy will run alongside our new Local Plan.

We are reviewing associated Supplementary Planning Documents guidance on planning obligations and affordable housing alongside preparation of our CIL.
