In line with government guidance on social distancing, South Tyneside Adult Carers Support Service are not able to give face-to-face support however, they are still available through telephone, email and social media.

The Adult Carers Service aims to provide support to unpaid family and friends who help or care for others who could not manage without their help.
The service provides home and office visits, information and advice and opportunities to meet with other carers. They also have a Male Carers' group and Parent Carers for Peer Support - all in a friendly and safe environment.
Who is this service available to?
A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse issues.
