Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Connexions advisers are still available to help you. They can still can make contact with courses and get you a place or provide support in applying for jobs and apprenticeships.

Some courses have already made arrangements where you can start with them. Some also work online should you not be able to attend the centre due to the centre being closed.

If you are feeling nervous about what your next steps look like due to the coronavirus pandemic (eg if you have had your apprenticeship offer withdrawn, or are concerned about how secure your college place is for September), Connexions South Tyneside can help.

Connexions South Tyneside provides careers information, advice and guidance to young people aged between 16 and 18, and up to 25 if they have a special educational need or disability.

Connexions Advisers can support young people to make positive choices about their future with information about college courses, apprenticeships, 6th form, employment and training as well as a range of other options depending on needs and interests.

All Connexions Advisers are appropriately qualified to nationally recognised careers information, advice and guidance standards (Level 6) recommended by Ofsted and the Career Development Institute (CDI).
