Writing for Wellbeing Retreat with Helen Aitchison
This Writing for Wellbeing Retreat will allow you to explore creative writing and its benefits for well-being.
In this workshop you will expand your knowledge through the processes of creative writing that not only support well-being but also develop writing skills. The retreat will include gentle writing exercises, current submission opportunities, and takeaway tools to continue with writing development and enhance well-being. No prior writing experience is needed.
The workshop will take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, from 10.30am-3.30pm
Please note: This is a two day workshop - tickets are for both days.
£20 per person for both days. Suitable for ages 16+

About Helen Aitchison
Helen Aitchison is a local, published author. She is director of Write on the Tyne CIC, which aims to make creative writing and expression inclusive and accessible. Helen works with local groups and charities to facilitate and publish stories, with a focus on the marginalised voice. She teaches a range of creative writing courses, offers mentoring, and has a publishing arm of the business, signing local writers. Helen is also a resident agony aunt at Pick Me Up! Magazine.
