Join us on the rooftop garden at The Word throughout summer for a selection of music performances by talented artists.

All performances will take place on a Monday throughout June - August from 12pm - 2pm. 

• 10^th June - Theo G and Matt Price play traditional tunes from the North East and beyond. Expect a toe-tapping selection of jigs, reels, hornpipes and more.
• 24^th June - Jen Stevens blends elements of pop, rock, folk and classical music to create a sound that is both eclectic and deeply personal.
• 1^st July - Blaise Taylor and Matt Price perform traditional tunes and folk songs from across the British Isles.
• 8^th July - Marie Little is an acclaimed performer, drawing her extensive repertoire from many genres, including Folk, Country and Music Hall.
• 15^th July - Stu Nagouse and the Fabulous Rascals - a 5-piece Americana Band with Nagouse on lead vocals, performing songs from Jack Savoretti to The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and many more.
• 12^th August - Dave Lynas is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from the Northeast UK. Dave's deep vocals and unique guitar sounds combine to create a rich and entertaining set from Indie to Rock.
• 19^th August - Celia Bryce is a singer-songwriter who has recorded a number of albums of her own material as well as covers of Folk and Country songs.

All performances will take place on the rooftop garden at The Word. FREE events - simply drop by on the day!
