Learn How to Vinyl Cut

Come along to FabLab at The Word and learn how to vinyl cut or t-shirt press. You will learn how to create vinyl wall/glass decorative artwork using a graphical package, Inkscape, similar to professional packages like CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator. Create hand drawn sketches and learn how to turn these into a digital format, you will then find out how to vinyl cut or add it to a t-shirt. *If you prefer to vinyl cut and print a t-shirt, rather than create wall art, you are welcome to bring your own t-shirt or one can be supplied for an additional cost of £4 each.

Once trained, you will be able to attend drop-in sessions to create your own items. We have had a range of people using the equipment, including someone starting their own t-shirt making business and a costume designer.

The sessions will take place on the following dates/times:

• Monday 13 February, 1-3pm
• Monday 27 March, 1-3pm

This workshop is suitable for ages 16+

Tickets are £12.50 per person.*
