Carers Rights Day Information Session

Carers Rights Day takes place every year to raise awareness of carers and their needs and to highlight how organisations across the UK and in local areas can help carers find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to.

This year the focus is on the ways in which Caring Costs unpaid carers, including impacts on carers' wellbeing, costs to their finances and employment options, and the current cost of living crisis which is being felt even more acutely by carers throughout the UK.

If you are an unpaid carer join us for advice and support from Social care advisers, Welfare Support, Bliss=Ability, Alzheimer's Society, social workers, Admiral Nurse and the Substance Misuse Support Service will be at the event to offer advice.

The session will take place South Tyneside Adult Carers Service (STACS), Wawn Street, NE33 4EB on Thursday 24 November, 10am-2pm.

Free, drop-in.
